In my opinion, quests are the least engaging form of content that MMORPGs have to offer.

The only one of those above that doesn't remove players from the "this is an open world with other players" pool is the mob fight one, which I pointed out in the original comment. What other questing type would not remove people from the open world, in the context of what I mean by that phrase?
