Freeholds and Farming

Thank You Well for welcoming me back.
So I'm sitting on my Freehold and thinking of the possibilities, the crops i will grow, the animals I will raise, the food I will cook, and one of the first things I'm thinking is, can we get the ability to name our Freeholds, like "Welcome Traveler to My Home, Owner: Name"
But i am also looking forward to planting trees and raising cows

    I'm thinking 32 freehold for 6k people?!?!?!? and the freehold is the only place where you can master and grand master the profession... The gather is awfully, the crafting useless and the freehold is only for 32 people...soon the gather/crafting comunity will leave is they continue in this way.

    It's not going to be for only 32 people.

    The correct number is 8x or 9x however many Freeholds exist (supposedly hundreds), concurrently, with a lot more people probably having access than that, for limited periods, due to being able to 'rent out' the ability to interact with the Freeholds.

    Most people will be fine.

    there 61 freeholds in the riverlands, desert will probaly get 60-80 aswell since there more room due to no starting zone.

    Anyone figure out how to farm on Freeholds? i have a ton of seeds and cant do anything with them

    Is that even working yet? I too, am very interested to know even if my group is unlikely to actually get a Freehold this time.

    If Farming isn't working yet, then it saves me the trouble of even coordinating the attempt.

    Farming still doesnt work on Freeholds.
    You can plant rootballs to the tune of a thing and 11 poop but you get maybe 2-8 of said thing depending on what it is. You would have better results and less steps by just using the Farming bench.

    Cows still turn into Bluebells

    Chickens used to work but it would just be an interactable click thing not a chicken roaming around. but as of the last patch you can't place the baby chickens anymore.

    So currently Freeholds are worthless

    One thing I wondered, in the first couple days of Pre-Alpha we could go out and cut barley & Tomatoes and farming stuff that was growing wild, this could be a way to raise farming without gathering poop and spending Gold, but then when Alpha1 was released it was taken away. Why??? that was the funest way to just gather as a farmer and level farming, now its just a go to a bench or hope it one day works on a freehold which costs money so good luck if you wanna be a farmer and not own a freehold.
    Come on let us fight enemies at Briarmoore and gather barley, if you didn't like novice doing it just make it Apprentice then but please have some type of in world gathering for farmers
