Over-importance of damage related character stats (STR, DEX, INT)

This is the trend atm, where we all stack the damage related stats over everything else, as the defensive and sustain stats have zero value. Maybe its time to balance the scales a bit? Diminishing returns? Fixes to defensive stats?

All six main attributes are too easily increased, too. Individual items increasing main attributes stack up really fast. IMO main attributes should only be increased by sets or some very special items, and even then some should decrease attributes as well, like one item giving +3 STR and -5 DEX. Damage is scaling up too fast as it is now.

Yes, I mean in addition to what they already have.
I definitely think that crit should increase physical accuracy as well. Right now, crit scales so poorly that most physical damage dealers just hog strength which feels... rather dull, imo.
