Duplicate Naming Causing Loading Issue

For today's Temp Server Test, I used a name that I had used on the Live servers.

Once I heard the Live servers where up again, I logged out of the temp server Norlynn.
Restarted game through launcher and I get a message: "A player request failed but may be retired with different data (like a character name). Code:17"
Click okay, get connection screen to character selection for sever minutes before prompt repeats without being able to log in to character servers.
Restarted the game again to same results.
Obviously cannot do /bug in game.
