Won't launch Direct X 12

Hi, trying to launch games. Says that Direct X 12 needs to be installed and it is. Anyone else come across this? Trying to run it on a laptop with 870M graphics card

    the game wont work because of the direct x 12 . I have a brand new computer. what do I do?
