Siege Content Suggestions
Hello, After Lyneth's First Siege Event on Sunday I had some thoughts and brainstormed some other things that I think would improve the leading up to the siege to make the whole event have more drum up to what inevitably will decide the fate of a node.
- The people who sign up should be flagged. Why? What if the attackers had to complete quests leading up to Siege event to create Siege vehicles to help with the destruction of the node I.e Battering Ram, Catapult, Siege Dragon Mount. This provides each side with content the days leading up to the node siege and a reward for the attackers to assist in completing their objective.
- Why only Attackers? Well the defenders didn't initiate or plan for it. So by default they should have a city building that they can choose to construct which defenses they make ahead of time that are More effective against the attackers siege vehicles ex. Burning oil for the ram over the gates, Nets to anchor the Dragon mount, Ballista to destroy the catapult.
A lot of my guildmates in The Federation love open world PVP and it would make these expensive and taxing grinds that much more epic leading up to along with the potential aftermath of a ruined city node.
