No auto attack PLZ

Is there going to be an auto attack? I am hoping not I do not like clicking on icons.

    I know its a hybrid system but I am hoping that you will have a key for main attack. if you pressed it multiple times maybe a combo chain. I was kind mad about not going live action combat but the hybrid reveal of the warrior and the ranger changed my mind on that matter. it did not look bad at all. was hoping for no auto attack. it would kind of ruin the action that the hybrid system is looking like, if it had one.

    If some people like the auto attack then just give me an option to turn it off in the settings plz. I want to have to mash buttons and be interactive in combat. not fall asleep while I am playing.

    Wouldn't this depend on the flow of the combat?

    'Waiting 2 seconds for your autoattack combo to happen between certain abilities' is hardly sleep-inducing.

    Anyway, there's definitely Auto-Attack toggle right now.

    so you can toggle off the auto attack. That is good enough I guess. srry it really does put me to sleep if it does it for me. I have to stay interactive. thats one of the reasons I cant play wow or ff14. I nod off after a while of playing but I play souls games like a boss. they keep me focused because they keep me more active.

    So what you have for an auto attack does it's own combo attack. You can turn auto attack on and off, this helps a lot for grinding in PvE because your hand will become sore over time. as far as PvP goes it's better to have it Turned off because your character can start attacking when you don't want it to and ruin your timing when using abilities. at high level play you can factor in the weapon attacks and optimize your basic attacks (which would be your autos you turn on and off) to do a combo when it's necessary.

    You won't be able to do anything in PvP with basic attacks so autos hold no weight there and in PvE your DPS is gonna be noticeably bad if you're just auto attacking and not using abilities
