Mixed-Level Groups
There is, of course, a concern with facilitating mixed-level groups that power leveling becomes an issue. And that's a real concern and one that needs to be taken into consideration.
However, Ashes is a group-based game. In leveling, in particular, trying to level after the bulk of players have reached end game is a painful and isolating experience. Even for those of us who have in-game friends, the way groups are penalized for having lower level players and lower level players are penalized for being in groups with higher level players means that unless you can calibrate your game time exactly to your friends, you're going to level at different rates. Someone will fall behind, and as soon as that happens, it is hard for them to catch up.
My feedback here is that allowing viable mixed-level groups helps to keep people from becoming isolated and frustrated as they level. Please find a way to facilitate mixed-level groups in a way that doesn't allow significant power leveling.
