dual daggers need a fix
The dual daggers now take up with 1 weapon both main and off and melee weapon slots
at level 10 you buy a tin defenders’ blades @450 power using both slots
or you buy a tin sword @360 power & focus @294 power a total of 654 power
Or you get a tin great sword @720 power using both slots
all skills use weapon power to calc the damage
players are left with little choice but to go with the 2hd sword for the greatest power thus greatest skill damage.
This is why nearly all rogues are running around with 2hd swords not daggers. To maximize skill damage
a few ways to fix
1st and not best
adjust the daggers to have 2 power numbers since they are 2 weapons
maybe a little lower like 350 & 350 thus would signify that its 2 weapons and damage per swing could be reflected off these lower number
But for skill calculations use them added to correct the fact that you only have 1 weapon and bring skill with daggers up more equal to 2 hd weapons with a little lower power but a faster auto attack speed
A better fix would be to make daggers and any other new dual wield weapons in the future (hammers axes, 1 hand staves) only take one slot in players melee slots,) to go in the offhand slot. would allow for some Player choice to what and how they dual wield, they could use 2 different daggers (even mic match types and rarity) creating more weapons to be made, found, enchanted, tempered etc. or even options to use a long sword and a dagger, or someday, 2 hammers, 2 axes, 2 1hd staves, 1 hammer 1 axe, 1 dagger 1 1hd staff, etc
you could then also allow two weapon skill trees to be used at once giving even more choice and incentive to use dual wield and mix and match skills that could used
instead of all players just using great sword

Would make for a nice variety imo with 2h for better burst and daggers for better sustained damage and longsword for balance
OR make animations faster for daggers since they have a higher attack speed or something like that
skill CD is effected by attack speed
