Spread the Node XP love
Did a brief search to see if this had been suggested before, didn't see anything. This issue may be specific to fresh starts, but I'd like to suggest that node XP be distributed in a wider area than 100% to only the 1 node.
For example, if I kill mobs in Oakenbane Keep, I propose Miraleth gets 80-90% of the node XP, and the remainder gets distributed to the geographically neighboring nodes (Sunhaven, Aithanahr, & Winstead). With the intended size of the world, possibly even going further than that to within a 2 node radius at an even further reduced %. This allows for intentionally focused node development, but also helps civilize the nearby wilds a bit, so we're less likely to end up with Halcyon and Joeva capped at Tier 3 for weeks but Windansea still at Tier 1.

Near by nodes will be competing with each other to level first, with progress being blocked if you are slow to level.
There will, however, be a system to transfer experience up to the parent node.
Also when the world is actually complete that will also mean that nodes will have proper POIs to grind and the mobs will scale their level with the node properly instead of just being 20-30 by default.
