Have Interpid mentioned anything about having surnames? I miss the old EQ days when it was an accomplishment to reach high enough level to earn your surname.

How about titles? It'd be cool to have that "Hunter of Grems" title :wink:

    Hey @Tearl Stoneheart! Great question, I don’t think Intrepid has confirmed anything official about surnames, but you’re definitely not alone in wanting them.

    As for titles, yes! Titles have been mentioned before, you’ll be able to earn them through various systems like node citizenship, PvP ranks, crafting achievements, and even through rare or seasonal events. It’s likely they’ll be visible next to or under your name, depending on UI settings.

    A title like "Hunter of Grems" sounds exactly like the kind of fun, flavorful reward we can expect from some hidden or dynamic content. Would love to see a system where even obscure in-world actions unlock cool titles like that.

    They should let people know in advance of name reservations what the policy will be, which, admittedly, is at least a year away.

    I want to have a "Simpleton-Title" which Players can unlock by PESTERING that NPC long enough You need to bring the Wood and Stone Blocks to - in the Sweat of your Brow Questline for the Horse.

    Like : You need to spend at least an H.O.U.R. in this Questline without completing it - and ask him at least 100 Times or so when he asks you if you brought him the blocks. >:)

    I am fully aware that this needs of course proper coding and programming :mrgreen: but this would be very funny. He had SUUUCH an annoyed Voice at first in Phase 1 :mrgreen: so i think it would be hilarious if there is a tiny Scenario in which he snaps because his Patience is running out and he declares You a Simpleton for taking so long for the Questline and apparently not knowing how to get it done. :mrgreen:
