Basic fixes suggestion
Only just got the game a few hours ago, level 5. Already annoyed with a few things that seem like the bare bones basics.
I'm new to this somewhat old community so don't think im trying to speak negatively about the game. I'm only adding my two-cents as a long time MMO player. Years in Lineage2, WoW, Black Desert, New World.
The game looks ripe for a launch in a year or so I just hope they iron out what the community is pointing out. I altogether decided to skip crafting/gathering as it seems it's not really working well enough to get into yet.
- Escape should be the default hotkey for Main Menu, and should close various windows in succession like Map, Inventory, etc.
- The looting of monsters is oddly terdious, as well as targeting. After they die, I have to reclick and get closer to them spamming F to pickup, extremely annoying.
- The Map makes things choppy and requires to be open and closed a few times to get it to load without making everything choppy. This isn't hardware or internet on my end.
- /sit works sometimes, but other times, a lot of times, it just doesn't.
- There is no default list tab of general skills, like sitting, walking, dancing, emotes, and no macro abilities to make your own.
- Quest markers and highlighted quest monsters should be much easier to see.
- Specific Vendors in town areas should be much easier to see, as well as see what they sell.

You should also /bug in the game for each of your issues.
That was annoying in Phase 1 already - but for me the "Mount-Speed" was the most horrible Atrocity of all. (lol)
I think if i am not wrong -> than at least One Ashes of Creation Streamer on YouTube said already, that Sir Steven and the Others need to heighten the Mountspeed a little bit.
Because now ? It was already a loooooooonnnnnnng ride when it was just the Riverlands. Now, the Sandsquall Desert, the Tropics and the Jundark are in the Alpha 2, aren't they ?
At the latest when the Anvils are in the Game, too -> People will no longer have the Nerve to ride from One Place to the other completely. But here is the Fun thing which probably nobody mentioned.
Maybe it is just Sir Steven's Dream.
When the Game is near it's Completion to finished State -> his Dream is to have an Open World so big, that WHOLE. ARMIES. of Players - must travel like at least full an Hour from One End of the Continent to the Other -> or from One of the Continents to the other.
And like : Nuh-UH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing with "Teleporting to the City Siege" like it's an Battleground.
You must come there " IN - PERSON " ingame. If You want to City-Siege/raid a City in the Riverlands -> but You come from the Frostgrave Fells -> then You better get ready for some heavy sailing - and it can easily take an Hour or Two.
WHAAAT ?? ^.^
Not everyone has the time for that ?
TOO BAD, Guys. That could be his very Dream
( But jeah that would be 4 Hours -> 2 for the Journey or so -> and 2 for the City Siege

I am in the guildless Guild so to say, lol. But i won't give up. I will find my fitting Guild "one Day".
The reality is that development of this actual game didn't really start until 2018/2019. They were working on some back end tech and design before that, but not really anything that was going to be the game itself.
An MMORPG from an experienced MMORPG developer takes 7 - 10 years currently. An inexperienced developer would be expected to take longer.
