Corruption penalty needs to be changed

i am enjoying the game so far except for the corruption system, as it is and i know its just for A2, but it was WAY to harsh, dropping gear should not be existent on corruption 1, and 25% stat dampening is just ridiculous, also it does not fit the combat at all when you can be ganked, fight back, and then accidently one shot someone from an aoe ability causing you to lose hours of time and gear for a bad mechanic, please look at this, safe spots in cities should be enough we don't need 25% reduced stats and drops because of carebears

Personaly think they should do away with gear drop and have it drop gold instead but you will drop gear when u dont have the gold to pay the cost.
That way you always drop something useful for people who kill the corrupted player and allows for it to be split with everyone in the party. Where gear drops is a pain for everyone and can be useless like full set of shit gear not realy sellable if dropped where gold always has a use.

Would also get more caravans out in the world too to make back gold lost from people going corrupt :P (could make 10% gold get lost too for an additional gold sink too)
allows for more versatility too in penalty

Dropping a percentage of account gold, scaled up with level difference, which creates a bounty that can be claimed with a bound certificate earned by the death of the corrupted taken to the local settlement. This would sting and make it so you can track who submits the cert, so guildmates of the corrupted or repeated claimers would become easy to flag.

If it is about punishing the corrupts gear then rather than drop, it, have it drop quality.

Full open world PVP sever or just pvp zones, and events.. But the whole corruption system is stupid.. People will manipulate all day long... All it is good for is gankn pvers and crafters... One player can hide behind the flag . See people greifing others than flexing in global,,, These same people refuse to run around with flag on... How about if you attack and kill someone who does not want to pvp.. You are flagged for 1 real world week... Since you want to pvp, you will now have a chance to get all the pvp you want... So many bad players just want to gank lowbies or pvers, or flag up claim guild war,, only when the outnumber others.. The current system give the underskilled overgeared pvp player a place to hide and grief others
. WE NOW HAVE TEsted it multiple times in multiple phases.. Flag up should = week long flag. PVP towns can easily be inplace so these folks can still repair ect.

Corruption system go bye bye... Perma Flag on should be the real meta.. For PVPers.. Flag up kill someone flag stays on for 7 rl game days so yo can get all the pvp you want.. Real men run with Flag on

For the new peeps here - we're still looking at getting a Bounty Hunter system at some point.

Factions exists already, you're guilded and citizen, that's your faction.

I do miss the ability to flag up until I want to flag down.
