Hardware lumen setting

gec5741gec5741 Member, Alpha Two
I had questions regarding the Lumen setting in the graphics settings. When I select this setting, it does "strange" things to my lighting. More so shadows moving around and not looking "natural". I'm wondering if this is on my system side potentially a setting, I may not have set or have set or if this is just that the engine isn't updated quite enough yet and it's an in-game issue?

My basic PC rig is as follows
CPU = amd 9800x3d
Ram = 64
GPU = Nvidia RTX 5800

    Are you talking about the new starting zone? The lighting is ALL OVER THE PLACE in there. Lighting and shadows moving around on the walls like water reflections. Gave me a headache so i restarted my character in the OG starting zone.

    You can try to set "Global Illumination" to medium. Fixed the dark and moving shadows for me in caves and dark areas.

    Seems for me it's just all over the place no matter where I'm at. I'll try the Global Illumination setting and see if it helps. if not i'll just stick with normal ray tracing. Looks good and I don't get weird shadows. I'm guessing this will eventually be corrected as the game progresses. Thanks!

    I was informed by a mod that the lumen setting is buggy and should not be used. Just use the Ray Tracing option for now
