Alpha Two Phase III testing has begun! During this phase, our realms will be open every day, and we'll only have downtime for updates and maintenance. We'll keep everyone up-to-date about downtimes in Discord.

    Alpha 2 Phase 3 last until Beta, which we don't know when Beta will start. since there is still the rest of the content they are going to add, ex Classes and sub classes.
    Then after Beta starts the Alpha realms they said will become the PTR realms.
    TLDR: Unkown/really long.

    Back then Sir Steven stated that the Phase 3 of the Alpha 2 will last AT. LEAST. a Year. But my gutfeeling tells that we will most likely see Phase 3 for at least about Two Years minimum from here.

    Why ? Simply because of the Nature of Delays that keep haunting this Phase of Development. :mrgreen:

    Something is not working as intended,
    then the Team gets on tackling the Problem,
    then apparently the coding Work to solve said Problem is unexpectedly difficult,

    and then the Team has no other Choice but to keep working on it way longer than they first planned. At least this is my Impression when we keep in Mind that Phase 3 was supposed to start about the FIRST DAY of May. ;) but then it had to be delayed for at least over a Quarter.

    Shows that the programming of such a vast and (hopefully) detailed World like the World of Verra is no joke. ;)



    My Head hurts when i think about for how long i want to play/test the Summoner Class now. :mrgreen: it's nearly two Years since then. :sweat_smile:

    This is the last phase, so its phase three till launch. No time to how long this phase will be, my guess is 1-2 years from the testing is have done in the past.

    Can we count the Beta as a part of the Alpha as well ?

    No sure if the Beta will make any great Difference still - but i think they wil squeeze a Beta Phase between Launch and Phase 3 of Alpha 2.

    throw in some extra delay for Unreal Engine upgrades since this development keeps stumbling into those as well

    The only thing we know is that we know nothing - aside from the very nigh 100% Possibility that not even Sir Steven and his Team right now knows how long they will stay work on it before they view it as acceptable to be released/launched. ;)
