Alpha Two Phase III testing has begun! During this phase, our realms will be open every day, and we'll only have downtime for updates and maintenance. We'll keep everyone up-to-date about downtimes in Discord.

Mass PvP - group orientation

Mass PvP - group orientation
1) Clanmate name color = blue
2) Group member name color = green
3) Alliance clan color = turquoise
It's difficult for players to find their groupmates in mass PvP and heal quickly because they're invisible and the same color as everyone else.
And to mark a new groupmate, you need to see them to mark them.

    Yeah, Friend or Foe issue is real in Ashes, especially outside actual guild / node wars.

    Yeah, Friend or Foe issue is real in Ashes, If you followed the game for any amount of time it is a PVX game supposed to be like this. Though knowing if someone is in your alliance would be nice. To many cry babies. More safe ways to pve in this game than already intended by far. It is a PVX game, if you can not handle getting killed by other players do not do things that may get you killed. WAY more than intended game design of PVE is already in game. The PVP part in testing in 3.0 is so broken, you can not even test outside of dueling a friend, or ganking a lowbie. Next to zero challenge. After doing it a few times. Lets hope the patch in Nov fixes this. This is not EQ or WOW

    Pseudo factions aren't really defined. Which is the issue with the friend vs foe. Then the open world pvp that does happen turns into a free for all gankfest.

    Right now in the game a play effectively has one faction, your guild. So if they're not in your guild they are a potential enemy. Sure you might be apart of a Settlement but those ties are so loose it doesn't really matter. And there's no penalty for killing someone from your own settlement.

    I'm for anything to better identify who is on what team. Better nameplates would help with that. Not just better nameplates on the characters, but caravans, ships, ashes, ect.
