How do I fix this error, cannot get into game at the moment.

    I get the same error when I get to character screen, otherwise it just sits at a black screen after selecting a server

    Seemingly random crashes before or after character screen. On the 1/5'th attempt that doesn't crash I'll start loading the world POST character select, get booted back to character select and cop the EAC Failure: 8.

    I don't get any EAC errors but exactly the same symptoms - random crashes either on initial loading screen or somewhere on character selection. Can't get into the game right now. Attached logs of game client.

    I managed to launch the game only after completely reinstalling the entire client.

    Just confirming this was related to amazon web services' outage. Their issue appears to be mostly resolved but we are monitoring.
