Steam Early Access Question
Can someone help me understand the difference between Steams Early Access and buying into the Alpha for $100?
Is Steam Early Access the end of the Alpha period or is the Steam Early Access a temporary interest generating test phase? I'd like to start playing Ashes in December as I have a lot of vacation time saved up but I don't know which path to take.

Beware as the World of Verra is still heavily unfinished and all the Mechanics like Second Archetype/Multi-Classes and other Contents are still included in that.
The Difference is just like Ludullu said. You pay less Money when You wait still a bunch of Days.

I am in the guildless Guild so to say, lol. But i won't give up. I will find my fitting Guild "one Day".
This Early Access is absolutely NOT the end of Alpha. The game is still very much in development, and will be so for a number of years. We're not sure exactly why they're calling it Early Access, cos it just isn't.
One thing that might matter is that if you get the $100 version playing through Steam using your Steam account isn't available to you, even though supposedly everything else is.
There are some other complications with this approach we don't know all the details of, since overall, the game has some issues that might prevent certain players from getting any 'Access' out of that 'Early Access' (optimization, etc).
But I presume that Intrepid has negotiated all of that so it basically comes down to if you benefit somehow from having the launcher without the Steam Wrapper around it, and some stuff about cosmetics and later subscription time.
... why do I hear Boss music...?
