I have the same issue. it appears that Steam is down. this could be the authenication issue. games show playable, however store is not loading, and website is down.
same here. i was in game but restarted because i wasn't getting mob drops. 20+ mobs and zero drops. steam account error when trying to log back in
Its weird how some of my steam games work and some dont. Kinda sucks I just got the game today and have been dying to play it
the other games probably dont need steam account verification to launch. GW2 launches just fine for me.
Never had more trouble just trying to login. Simple things are crazy I guess

Same. Had this happen earlier and thought it was some sort of other issue. Rebooted computer and got in. Logged off for a couple hours and now tried again…same message keeps popping out.
Have otherwise never had this issue. Have been using the steam access almost since its first day on steam.
Steam is back up so at this point it must be AOC, great job guys….. Maybe you will give us another free cosmetic, LOL….

Steam servers blew up, it is not ashes directly it is steam.
Same thing game broken here. I have friends who are in the game playing cant log in due to the authentication issues with steam.
just restart your pc. and it will fix problem

Yeah but that was during. Mine was still showing the error hours after they were already back up.. Resetting steam didnt do anything. I had to restart my system for the webhooks.
