Steam now back but I got an EAC error 12
same i uninstalled and reinstalled and still same error
Yep, I can log in. See my character, but it crashes after Shading. Same Error 12. SMH
I have got into game couple times, only to be kicked after 15 seconds. I have also tried everything I can find to correct this. SUCKS!!!!

Same. Been trying to log into game for an hour and a half. If I am lucky and log in, i get kicked after 15 seconds or less. with the same error message as above.
I'm having this exact issue, it boots me back to character select then shows the window with this error message, amazing how good this game is at not letting me play and coming up with new errors heh.
question is. Is anyone doing anything about it. not one reply from DEV team in all these threads. I really don't care it is holiday, someone should be monitoring, and updating when there is a issue.
I heard it's because Amazon Web Servers are down?
I am glad I am not the only one with this error. Tried all the suggested fixes and still nothing. Got in once and then booted after a few seconds.
Yes I had the same error, I am in Steam but now when I select my character that EAC error 12 comes up. I verified files, reinstalled, restarted. It really sucks that I cannot play on my xmas break. I enjoy this game alot that I will keep trying. All I know is the ppl that are currently in game should not log out lol. Currently watching my hubby play while we're trying to fix on my side. Hope the holiday doesn't effect the TAT. Merry xmas and happy holidays. 😞🤪
I don't see anything about amazon servers being down. all reports are operational. I believe this all came about as a result of steam outage. At first couldn't verify steam account, now after that is fixed we are receiving a longing issue, or kicked from game after few seconds. we won't know for sure until a Dev posts or fixes it. SUCKS!!!!

As a long time Star Citizen player> first time eh… at least its happening to everyone and not something on your end.
also fortnite and Star Citizen are having log in problems too, its probably an easy anti cheat issue and not with the game
The dev should be more active on their own forum. Give us announcement or ETA when will it get fixed
The servers are full up, I suspect this may be only some of us
