He seems to have been exploited, even possibly with a cheat, and this is your response. Do you really want Ashes to succeed? (granted his post is a bit all over (maybe english not first language?), but come on)

Steam charts have pop on a very steady and quick decline. Perhaps this is a toxic player problem?

Not how it reads to me.

They died to mobs after some lag, and had their corpse looted.
They chased whoever they thought it was, and attacked them.
The other person didn't fight back.
They killed them and went corrupted.
They died again, and lost some gear.
And now they're bitching about losing gear after going corrupted.

Yes, English isn't my first language, so this might read a bit odd to you – I'm really sorry for that. What I mean to say is, I didn't die because I lost to the monster; I died because the server disconnected. And he took my loot, about 5 gold coins – that was the fruit of nearly an hour of my work! If he stole my loot, his name should be red, not purple – plus, the purple name only lasts for a really short time. You don't go Red for taking a loot pile. You go Red for killing somebody that hasn't fought back.

That's totally different to taking a loot pile. There's no way at all that taking a loot pile should ever turn you Red.

Seems to me to be the corruption system working as intended.

Log off for a few Hours after you killed him. He can't kill back what isn't there anymore. 😈

He shouldn't underestimate the Memory Ability of others. And he better keep quiet on which Server he would ever play which whatever Name for his Character. 😁

There's no "had to* there. He chose to, and he got taught the lesson for it. Intrepid shouldn't have to change a fundamental core design just cos he got angry.

These forums are not the place to come to crying about a single specific event that happened in game. You aren't going to find pity or empathy, and in fact you are more likely to find the perpetrator of the event in question.

A single event like this is also not something the developers should be upending their PvP system for. The game is supposed to be high risk, which means sometimes you lose.

The only complaint you have is in relation to server stability
