Having sea caravans or trade ships

Allow for coastal nodes to have trade routes across the sea. They could be more expensive that a land route but allow for pirates and sea combat. This could be a possibility for future updates if not the main game. Possibly. I'm just throwing ideas out there.

    I like it, along with a ship-building profession that would be a high level tier for woodcrafting. Of course, you would also need to be able to build ships that can carry passengers, otherwise there would be no way to attack those trade ships.

    I really like that idea. First thing that comes to mind is yes that sounds like an expansion or major content update. You'd have to have ships and some sort of ship combat . Lot of games seem to try and bite off more than they can chew so either game is in Devi for too long or some content seems underwhelming and not finished.
