Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!
For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

My point is that your suggestion is incredibly close to a system already stated to be in the game.
There would be no actual point in having both your suggestion (which in itself is perfectly fine) and node wars the way Steven has described them. Since they are both so similar, a game would need to have one or the other, not both.
Ok it seems like having the ability to target a nodes buildings outside of a sieges setting would be both more immersive and fun. Perhaps I am missing something here, what did Steven describe node wars as? I haven't heard much about them to be honest.
It hasn't made it to the wiki, but when talking about node war objectives, targeting specific buildings is one of the things Steven mentioned.
The reason it isn't on the wiki is because it wasn't stated as being what the actual plan is, as yet.
sounds kinda like Steven already thought of my original post idea then and will likely implement something similar to what he thinks fits the game. Thats great to hear!
