About September being the final Pre-Order Pack?

From what Steven was saying in the update videos a couple of months ago, yours truly had the impression that it was just the Alpha and/or Beta pre-orders that were about to stop. However, the update for the pack that goes on sale tomorrow seems to indicate it will be ALL pre-order packs.

Just to clarify:

Will there still be cosmetic packs coming out monthly, or are these stopping, too?

And if so, then why not keep offering *just* the cosmetics, free of the testing access?

    From clarifications in Discord, which amounted to "the article is correct," the September pack has no determined cut off date as of yet. It may run a month, it may run three. They have hinted that while A2 access will be going away and the system of how they do monthly packs will change, you will still see cosmetics for sale. You just may not see testing access offered again. Remember that everyone that has A2 access, also has B1 and B2. And there is an even larger number that never went up to A2 access. So if they have what they feel is enough testers for A2, selling more beta access would work against them keeping the total number of servers they need to provide during testing to the limits they want. Could they run into a situation similar to A1 where a bunch of people who bought that access don't use it, or stop logging in after a few weeks? Sure. Then they would make a decision to either decrease the number of testing servers, (my guess is around 15-20 total in both regions to start), or they open A2 access up again for sale. All that is really known is that the current system is going away, and they have not said what the next one will look like.

    The pre-order packages are what we are ending. Those pre-order packages include testing access. So effectively sales of both are ending.

    As for what will happen in the future, keep an eye on our monthly livestreams and News page. Any announcements about future cosmetics or testing access will happen there. Also, be on the lookout for the next Livestream Q&A forum post and post your questions there. You may get them answered live by Steven.

    Unfortunately, I do not have any breaking news here on the support forum. :tongue:
