in Alpha Two Bug Reporting
I can not set turn left. Wanted to set it to A and turn right to D. D will set to turn right. But turn left will not set to anything. So have to play with target icon up the whole time. I saw other post about finding some hidden file and delete but I could not even find that either. Wanted to move with WASD but looks like I will have to constant use camera to move in direction. Really do not like that at all.

    both move backwards and strafe left i'm unable to bind correctly. They seem to not take and sometimes doing the "key 2" one does another movement function. Anyway hope there's a fix soon, i can't even "Reset All" since that button doesn't function either. i simply cannot play now.

    find file keybindsettings.sav in hidden folder and delete it. resets to defaults then.

    also having keybind issues, not able to bind strafe left at all right now
    Will always bind strafe right (key 2) when attempting to bind strafe left key 1 or 2

    Resetting binds back to defaults fixed the issue

    How the issue happened:
    Bind strafe left to Q
    Bind action bar shift Q (unbinds Q, doesnt seem possible to use shift + key when single bind already on movement)
    Attempt to rebind Q to strafe left, keeps binding key 2 of strafe right

    When you click on a key to rebind it, it prompts you for a key input, but no keys are registered.

    I am attempting to rebind Cycle Targets Backwards and no keys are registered.

    Both Cycle Targets and Cycle Defensive Targets have a keybind to go backwards. One is missing for the Cycle Friendly Targets

    When trying to rebind the left arrow key and the right arrow key, the left strafe does not save its keystroke. Instead it saves the left strafe to the right strife. The right strafe saves the right arrow key stroke. And now the left arrow makes you straight right as well as a right arrow makes you straight right.

    In the keybinding settings Slot 2 on Action Bar 2 is labeled as being on Action Bar 1. I was able to unbind and rebind it with no issue so it just looks like a typo or mislabeling.

    I have had the same bug and have talked to people in global chat in game that had the same bug.

    I have the same issue not being able to reset the keybinds.
    Can't find keybindsettings.sav, hidden folders are visible.
    What is the exact location of this file ?

    Edit : nevermind found it after a search on *.sav
    Location is : C:\Users\"Username"\AppData\Local\AOC\Saved\SaveGames

    RIGHT SHIFT - Unable to Key bind

    Right CTRIL - Let's assume this is my DODGE bind. Then I bind CTRL + NUMPAD1 for Fireball

    When I attempt to cast Fireball, it will roll my character.

    I am a left handed user who uses Numpad 0-9 for action bar 1, CTRL+Numpad 0-9 for action bar 2 and Right Shift + Numpad0-9 for Action Bar 3.

    Feeling nerfed as a Lefty :(

    RT this as a bug for myself.

    Strafe left no longer will allow a key bind to be assigned. Any key I attempt to assign becomes strafe right secondary key bind.
    I did delete keybindsettings.sav as suggested, but problem still persists.

    This is the only section in Key Binds that I have had a problem with while testing.

    Just downloaded the client about 20 minutes ago (6Nov2024), made my character and went into the keybinds. I can set other keybinds, but if I try to set Cycle Targets Backwards no keys are accept as input. As soon as I cancel out and go to another keybind option, I can set most other options just fine.

    Cycle Defensive Targets (and Backwards) both do not accept any input.

    So i'm using an Azerty (french) keyboard, so first thing i did in every game is to rebind the movements/straf keys to my keyboard, at first it did work (except CTRL+X keys are displayed SHIFT+X keys when hovered in the skill bar, so the naming is wrong, CTRL should be displayed CTRL not SHIFT ^^").

    But after 1 hour ingame i tried to rebind my "left straf" key, i input A, validated, and now Both of my 2 "LeftStraf" Keybinds are displaying "None", impossible to change for any other keys, its stuck to "none", and whenever i use my "Left Straf", i goes "Right straf" anyway (left+ right goes Right, while Left is keybing to "none".

    I've rebooted several time, impossible to assign the correct key to this Left Straf anymore, stuck to "None" and use are "Right Straf"

    I don't see any config files to hard change it so, i'm stuck to not being able to go "left" ^^"
