Constant Crashes
I believe I meet/exceed all technical requirements to play this game, but for some reason my game keeps crashing. Sometimes before I get into the game, sometimes 5 seconds after, sometimes 1 hour after I get into the game. I have a 4070Ti, Ryzen 9 processor, am I missing something as far as compatibility? Any ideas would be appreciated, thank you.

I have DLSS off. I acually installed the newest driver to try to fix the crash.
Confirming that rolling back to 577.0 does not fix the issue, nor does turning off DLSS,
I run a a i7-12700, Nvda 3080ti, 32 GB ram, 2 TB M.2, my PC isn't the best, but certainly meets the minimum requirements. The game will only run for 30 minutes to 1.25 hours until it crashes.
The worst part is there doesn't seem to be any real acknowledgment of the issue? Does anyone know if the problem has been acknowledged, and if there is a fix being worked on?
I really like the game, but it is getting hard to log in, knowing i'm going to crash get killed while crashing, and i'm going to lose some stuff that was hard to get...

I started having the same issue after a patch on or about the 4th. The game now drops frames constantly (very jerky) and I have the frequent crashes mentioned above.

Crashing to Desktop occasionally 30 to 60 minutes. However yesterday I was over 3 hours in Steelbloom and not single crash. But in Winstead like 30 to 60 minutes. Also noticed that crashes happened during zone changes occasionally.
I also changed my CPU, motherboard and memory during weekend but this same thing happened still.
Only thing that was not changed is GPU which is GeForce RTX 3060
Driver version: 581.15 (latest)
I get about 90 minutes at best in low pop areas.
A support ticket resulted in updating basically every driver for my PC, which I already had done, and reluctantly updating my BIOS - still, no change.
Hopefully we get a fix soon.
random crashes 30min -1 hour.
gamesettings all maxed "cinematic" dlss on quality, tried both with raytracing on and off and i get the same issue, tried with no dlss and still the same issue. i did notice the game started using alot of ram. but still i have 64gb so i got plenty left.
Might also be helpful to go into Windows Event Viewer (Type that in the search box) and look at custom views/administrative events/ There may be an error there that gives you a more specific reason for the crash. Admittedly, a lot of what is there in Event Viewer is junk (e.g. most of the "warning entries) but there may be something that points to the conflict, Focus on the "errors" starting at the top of events (most recent)
Good luck!
the crash is a gpu hardcrash.theres something in the nvidia driver OR game. from what ive seen in the logs it seem to be related to shaders.
DDU reset of drivers and 577.00 does NOT fix the issue with DLSS off. PLEASE fix this.
I fixed this issue today.
I increased the default amount of shader cache to 100GB in the NV Control Panel.
I also capped the game at 60 fps in the NV control panel and disabled Anti Aliasing.
Lastly, i forced the GPU into high performance mode for Ashes.
The result of at least some of this, is that I am no longer rising above 12GB memory utilization and crashing after 30-60 minutes. As best as I can tell, something changed around Sept 1st that caused the game to crash.
I think the cause is related to Ashes trying to use more than the default 4GB Nvidia cache limit and VRAM was compensating.
