Screen Tearing and Crashing

I'm in a situation where the game is kind of unplayable. If I don't have DLSS on with Frame Gen I have massive screen tearing. But id I do have it on the game constantly crashes. I've lost tons of stuff due to it crashing in battle, etc. Its not a hardware issue I have plenty of ram and processing power and I have a 5090. Anyone have suggestions on how to improve performance, get rid of screen tearing or prevent the constant crashing?
