Instances cause problem for open world content because they are more convenient. Human beings tend towards the path of least resistance. If Intrepid wants people to fight over resources in the open world, build up nodes/freeholds to process/craft them, and risk moving them around in caravans, the reward they offer can't be… -

Agreed, at the moment gear rewards aren’t confirmed yet, however as the game progresses I’m hoping they add it in later seasons cause it makes sense same as how hardcore PvE'rs get rewarded for there efforts Some people enjoy doing a scripted raid and rinse & repeat, others enjoy the fast paced competitive action of a 3v3… -

1v1 and 8v8 (ie max group size) should be present. In my experience groups become quite constant in guilds since it is most efficient. Group pvp is what the pvp will be balanced around and open world pvp will revolve around them. Thus having some place to hone group pvp skills in safe and controlled setting would be great.… -

The stuff at PAX from 5+ years ago isn't relevant. Everything from the camera positioning to the actual combat itself is vastly different from what the game is currently. I assume it will have to be aug builds, talents, team compositions and gear that play a big part in it 1, 3 & 5man is what is already confirmed and what was showcased at PAX so they obviously have thought this through and gone with this style as it is the most popular. Could at least have read some of this thread but let’s do the broken record dance shall we 1. Pve restrictions is what helps stop the hardcores from dominating the Arena, hence why most games not only have ranking system to differentiate skill but a hard gear-cap to stop the over abuse and pull it down more to skill.…
