Re: Why did you stop to play an MMO you once loved?
I used to play many MMOs and loved them. Why left? Then answer is ALWAYS the same: Bad, unnecessary & unpopular updates => game loses online because of that => boredom & losing sense of being in a crowd => quit Somewhere beyond stage 2&3 they also usually introduce oppressive/game-ruining "cash shop" seeing their game… -
Re: Why did you stop to play an MMO you once loved?
1. WoW-Cataclysm was so different ( not just visually) to me from WOTLK that it killed the magic for me. 2. Guild Wars 2-Lack of trinity system.Too much casual friendly decisions. 3. Archage-I dont really need to say why... 4. Neverwinter-p2w, lack of open world. 5. ESO-overall rigidity of the animation. Cyrodiil being its… -
Re: Why did you stop to play an MMO you once loved?
I played WoW 10 days. Then I took 13 years break. I tried again until I reached the first big city where I noticed that somebody was annoying me with a motor trike. I realized is a goblin NPC and that I cannot find a horse to ride, only some chocobo looking bird. And I closed the game. :( I think is too late for me now to… -
Re: Why did you stop to play an MMO you once loved?
I played many MMO´s and all of them failed me in some way at the end. Dark Age of Camelot: I loved to play twohanded paladin. But every utility he had was taken away with the introduction of the alchemy profession and he had lower offesiv and defensive capability a other class the armsman(warrior) so i never was invited… -

I've played sooo many but I will stick to the 3 I loved and am still sad about.... EQ) this game was great I was playing when WoW came out and after a few months of hearing how great it was I tried WoW and it just felt hollow the only thing better was the combat so I went back to EQ and just about every random I talked to… -
Re: Why did you stop to play an MMO you once loved?
-FF11, quit after item level was introduced, it completely ruined the game. -WoW, quit after I got tired of watching Blizzard be completely lost, and sick of them wasting my time. -FF14, quit after I completed the EndWalker storyline. (which was great btw) But at this point Yoshi-P had dumbed down the game to the point it… -

Re: Why did you stop to play an MMO you once loved?
For many MMO I quit playing because of one word... homogenization. This can be felt in many ways though. - When all classes start getting access to all ways of play styles and no class feels different from the other. - When gear for just about every build you want you need the same stats so there is no diversity really… -
Re: Why did you stop to play an MMO you once loved?
- WoW Tried it during WotLK. Even though I liked Warcraft 3 and castom maps a lot, getting into WoW was painful. I even started playing with friends but could not force myself to continue past the lvl cap. Combat was super stale, PvP was horrible (in all aspects) and midlvl dungeons were so easy I was falling asleep. Some…
