Out of Video memory
Hello everyone.
First of all, I apologize for my English; I write it extremely poorly.
Since the patch of 04-17-2025, I've been getting an error message when I launch the game: "Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource. Make sure the video card has the minimum required memory, try lowering the resolution and/or closing other applications that are running. Exiting..."
Before the patch, I never got this message.
My current configuration is:
GPU - RTX 4090
Processor - i9 13900K
RAM - 32 GB
Storage - 2TB SSD (x2)
Is there a way to fix this problem, given that it automatically closes the game?

You say that there are other unfair things in Ashes, but there arent that many from game perspective.
Relics? - The counter part is intended to be small guild perks that boost small groups
Sea content? - even a solo player can get a ship
I somehow get the feeling that you're going to be really disappointed in a few months.
Here is the thing that you dont get. In your example both group A and B are some 1k member alliances that own metropolis or castle. And the other thing that you dont get is the mentality of those groups,
Because the sole purpose for people to join zerg guilds is to dominate territory/area/node or ect. Meaning they absolutely will avoid fights with another zerg group since this will break their sole purpose of "Free win".
The things with Pirate Software prove this. Have seen this countless times where the biggest groups ally or make non aggression pact.
You might be right, but I don't think it's that I don't get those things, I think it's that you and I aren't talking about the same thing exactly. You're talking about what you think would make a good game, and I'm talking about what Steven wants Ashes of Creation to be about.
So even if/though I agree with you that changing things relative to player incentives and large guilds would make a good game, I don't agree that it's the type of game Steven wants to make through that path. I think Intrepid wants to take on the challenge of finding a way to make the game good despite building it on the more difficult/worse foundation.
And removing 'just' flying mounts isn't going to change that. The whole game is built on Large Scale PvP, Large Guild interactions, Large Group Incentives. If I had to rank the flying mounts thing in terms of how problematic it is (within the concept of why it's bad) it doesn't even rank in the top 5.
This game is for Pirate Software types. The flying mounts are a 'feature, not a flaw', for them, right?

With your current package you get access to all testing up until release, and a month of sub time once the game is released. Sub time is not consumed during testing.

can there be a reward for winning pvp then too if when there a penalty especialy a penalty so high that causes gear to drop :P 25% material drop realy is nothing especialy when all we can do with the glint drop is sell it to a vendor for pocket change
The glint/materials is the reward for winning PvP.
If you don't think you will get any glint/materials, don't PvP that opponent. If you don't think you can clear your corruption for one kill before someone comes and kills you, don't kill the opponent unless they fight back.
This is the entire point.

Keep in mind that the three primary melee play styles are already present.
The defensive melee, the Tank.
The pure melee, the Fighter.
The stealth melee, the Rogue.
Side note. Both the Cleric and the Bard offer some hybrid caster and melee options.
im all for dots on summoner. imagine spirit breath and a skill that lets u jump on your pet to charge into your enemy like @Xeeg mentioned. sounds really fun. wear them down with all your debuffs

Weighted Rewards for Hunting Bears
Description
The weights of 2 and 8 for the bears sub tables are reversed in comparison to wolves, raptors, Skinwalkers (although the carcasses don't drop for me anyways), etc. where there is a carcass and a trainable.
Bears are 80/20 in favor of trainable, and the rest are 80/20 in favor of carcasses. This has created a pain point in getting bear hides.

Good points overall, and I get the concern, but just a quick reminder that we’re still in Alpha, and a lot of these systems (including flying mounts) are still being tested and tuned.
Flying mounts are already planned to be extremely limited at launch, mainly for mayors and certain guild leaders, and Intrepid has mentioned they’ll likely come with strict cooldowns, zone restrictions, and no combat use. So it’s possible they’ll tweak things even more to avoid abuse or imbalance.
That’s exactly what this test phase is for, figuring out what works and what doesn’t. Let’s see how things evolve after the May 1st reset!
