Re: Some things Pantheon is doing
Level grap is nicely done. You can team with anyone 1.5 x your level + 1 lvl.
Level 1 can team with a lvl 2.5 char
Level 4 can team with a lvl 7 char
The current gap is not fun. Could even change it too 1.25 x your lvl +1. I find it hard to make teams and someone gets a lvl it often breaks up the group.
Also... The targetting system. You can have two targets. One for mobs and one for allies. So I can target a mob and another target window for a player. So you cast a heal it heals the friend, if you do damage spell, it attacks the mob. It's really simple and useful. Would help support allot. You could do target in target with this.
Having two targets is fairly common in tab target games. Sometimes it is as Pantheon has it, sometimes it is the target of your target - which is what EQ2 does.
The level gap is an interesting way of doing it. It would make leveling far easier with how easy Ashes PvE is in relation to Pantheon though.

Rallying to anyone’s defense, standing up for the underdogs, and protecting the vulnerable.
Helping others grow, teaching newer players the ropes, and developing them into confident, skilled adventurers.
Building a tight-knit community of like-minded players who value camaraderie, integrity, and fairness.
With 100+ active members and growing, we’re creating a community where every voice matters, every action counts, and everyone has a role in shaping our story.
What We Offer
🛡️ Caravan Safety: Thanks to our neutral relationships on Lyneth, caravans under the <HEROICS> banner are safer and less likely to face attacks.
🌟 Heroic Gameplay: From defending travelers to mentoring newer players, we go above and beyond to make the server better for everyone.
🤝 A Growing Legacy: Be part of a guild that’s on the rise, where your contributions shape the future. It’s more rewarding to join a guild building toward greatness than to fade into the background of a massive conglomerate.

What We Expect
Heroic Conduct: Go out of your way to help others. Act with honor, fairness, and respect at all times.
Neutrality: We don’t pick sides and we never attack caravans—our mission is defense and support.
Team Spirit: Be a part of our community. Whether it’s defending a caravan, teaching a newer player, or just hanging out in Discord, your involvement matters.
Respect for Others: Toxicity, harassment, and dishonorable actions have no place in <HEROICS>.

Flip the tax structure to encourage defending caravans
Currently when you purchase commodities in a node, taxes are generated on those purchases. So revenue to nodes is when caravans launch from your node, it doesn't matter if the caravan arrives as the taxes are paid.
One of the easiest solutions to caravans is simply flipping it around, have caravans generated revenue when they sell goods at a node. This would encourage nodes to protect caravans in route to them.
This also creates an interesting dynamic, as you don't hit a caravan when it's leaving a node... Then you have to haul the stuff a long ways. You hit a caravan as it's arriving and let them do the work.
So this creates a dynamic where the local node, or "authority" wants to protect the caravan at the same as when the pirates are raiding the caravans.

As to FOMO. A friend of mine like to say "What are you, 5?"
People need to get and be better. Stop making excuses for poor behavior.
At what point does the individual become responsible for their own existence?

Still thanking the artist. Folks can save their victim reindeer games for therapy.

Re: For the love of casuals PLEASE
Why is the answer always "The game needs to adjust for me" instead of "I need to figure out how to be more effective in this situation"?
Verra is dangerous by design. So either gain levels & gear to be prepared for the fight, or find alternate ways to move material from node to node. I have never had a problem moving mats myself without a caravan.
Intrepid is not going to put the puzzle together for you.

Re: Crafting is not the best gear
Crating does need tuning. Crafting is so slow at low lvls people get adventure lvls faster then crafter cant keep up at the start. Craters bragging about lvl 10 gear and people looking at the lvl 20 drop they got at lvl 16
Re: Charcoal - good fuel, but what else?
Don't confuse Charcoal with Coal

Steel ingots require Coke. Coke is made from Coal, a mining product that isn't available yet.
Coal is not the same thing as Charcoal.
