Re: [Cosmetic Pet Idea] Potsworth, A Witch’s Little Cauldron
I would love this
Something similar like this minus the shoes and hat. But I like the branches for feet. And maybe the little side bag could be filled with ingredients and potion bottles

That is awesome, well glad you are with us now!
Re: Dear Intrepid, you are unnecessarily killing a lot of people's desire to test the game for you.
@Teyloune
I agree 100%.
I must add that it is crazy that this needs to be said over and over.
I can't recall ever seeing a live stream where Steven has not said:
"This is a true alpha."
"Everything you see can change."
"Do not buy a key if you want to play a game."
"Expect bugs" (Lately)
And yet the from my prospective the "Test" has been more fun than any MMORPG I have played since Wildstar.
I truly think anyone QQing about Ashes has just been ignoring everything Steven has ever said.

Re: What it's like to be on the other end of exploits.
For context, I run a small guild called Heathen Lords with around 30 dedicated members. Recently, a guild named Barcode (formerly Verdant 69) declared war on us. This happened while we were camping raptors to gather some before the larger zergs could take control of them. Barcode/Verdant has a reputation for exploiting mechanics, both on Vyra and previously on Castus, and their actions are making the game nearly unplayable for us.
During the war, they’ve occupied all high-level grinding zones and can kill us in towns without consequence. While we’d normally engage in PvP, they’re all equipped with epic and heroic crafted gear, fully enchanted. They obtained this gear by exploiting the guild war rewards system early on, using those rewards to run caravans non-stop after reaching level 25. They achieved level 25 within the first two days by abusing the Carphin and Gravepeak exploits, then used their resources to buy out the player-run marketplaces.
The war type they declared was a fishing war, a cheaper alternative to standard guild wars, simply to avoid corruption penalties when killing us and looting any raptors we might have had. Fishing wars, as currently implemented, function identically to normal guild wars but at a fraction of the cost, making them an easy tool for abuse.
Barcode is a rebranding of Verdant, likely to cover up their exploitative history. I sincerely hope Intrepid can track this kind of behavior even after guilds disband and rebrand, as leaving it unchecked encourages further abuse and undermines the integrity of the game.
Intrepid please read this and understand what exploiting means to the average player who doesn't engage in exploiting and take appropriate action on their accounts. Exploiters will not stop with a simple slap on the wrist that comes with character deletion and gear deletion. There are numerous ways for them to pass on materials to alts in their guild or lower level crafters that didn't engage in the exploits. This behavior needs to be met with bans or it wont be enough.
This is exactly what I said would happen months ago. Along with a bunch of other predictions. If it makes you feel better given thier size they will likely become a victim of a larger guild down the road.
Re: [Feedback] Why Ashes is currently destined to fail...
You dont get to push people around or push your oppinion on any matter. Just because its on-line ppl think they can just do about anything. Respect is earned and talking peoples opinion down is not apreciated. You do you, others do whats right by them, stop trying yo impose a view. We all want The game to be great, but it must cater to a wider audience than pvp zerg 12 hrs a Day bored individuals.

I agree with The poster pov.
How about you mind your own business and dont spoil others players fun? Or share mobs, locations, resources. Is that even possible in this era? This generation seems so lost. They want it all for themselves.
Was leveling an alt The other day,was low HP after a fight,a cleric came by and tossed me a heal. Faith in humanity restored! But that was just 1/1000. The other 999 would have just pulled more mobs on me just for me to die and they can loot what little glint i had. That is a major problem. The people this game has gathered.... Like every max lvl caracter now wears lvl 10 enchanted +8 gear. Just to get The stats. 400+ magic/phy Power. How is that intended?
Beyond the collisions being broken, stats and abillities not working as intended, all manner of bugs,The player base is at fault. Its The same people that were ganking Asmongold or try to kill mr. Shariff everytime hes on.
Oh and pls stop calling him Steven,he is not your buddy down The street 😂😂😂

Re: Node War Spawn Camping Zerg BS
Node wars are trash content atm for solo players not affiliated with a large guild that is participating.
I'm a solo player not affiliated with the node other than for the cape.
If you do not belong to a node, you will not be impacted by a node war and if you do belong to a node, you have all the risks right along with all the benefits.
As a solo player, nothing prevents you from starting a raid and having people X up in citizen chat when war erupts or asking for a group in citizen chat and helping defend.
As someone not in a large guild, I have done this and if I really wanted to avoid node wars all together, I would not join a node.
Also, be proactive and log off in secure locations so if you log in during a war, you are not sitting in the middle of the node.
I think having a timer between when a war (any type) is declared and when it starts is important so I hope that this will be implemented. I also think a choice in spawn points would be helpful,
My post wasn't about risk/reward of being a citizen but how the dev team needs to improve node wars to limit and/or prevent repetitive griefing of non-combatants not looking to participate and grant a better option for players to leave the node area being contested. Currently logging off the game is the best answer and that's not sufficient for game health reasons.
I wasn't looking to participate in the node war. I was looking to finish my level grind to 25. I know nobody from Miraleth nor care to engage in pug group pvp vs organized discord group zergs.
I am in a large guild, but I was logged onto an alt where I am a citizen of Miraleth, not our guild node, for the benefit of the mage cape they have. Avoiding being a citizen of a node isn't a good way to be a tester imo. The devs need the feedback from various points of view on their systems (node wars).
I logged in that session in a 'safe' area of Halcyon and joined a pug group that was farming at Carphin. I found out that there was an active node war when I saw numerous red players at the back entrance to carphin tower (unlikely to all be corrupt) so figured a node war was active and looked it up on the N node UI after I was chased and killed by their group camping the tower entrance. There is currently no UI notification on login, warning, character demarkation to notify you that you are logged into an active node war you are automatically a participant of. The map also does not make it obvious with any highlighting that I've seen.
And yes, I think an update to the shrine system should be part of the solution. Updating them to have protection while standing by the shrine is one step. And allowing transport to any shrine in the metro network would be my other suggestion. That would alleviate much of the griefing, stalking, camping concerns and issues there are currently as moving around the map is problematic currently and too easy for large guilds to camp an entire area and grief everyone with no method of escape without logging out to prevent redundant spawn camping.
Make weapons unique
The Eye of Carphin .... The only cool thing about it is the looks ... extra necrotic damage is just meh ...
I really think there should be unique effects like
Chance to spawn a zombie, Chance to proc and attack twice, Finishers do double the damage, Firespells will also apply weakened to the target, ... etc. to unique named weapons like that.
