Re: Vendor Prices v. Crafting Costs (for consumables)
Indeed!
Generally speaking it is a valid feedback to all crafting skills bellow apprentice. You just vendor everything that you made. But as you described, cooking and specially scribing is unfortunately total broken. Ironically even the NPC vendor is laughing on scribers, as they are buying up scrolls for 8 or 6 copper? 😄
It was fun to roll 2 ALTs one is alchemist + scriber the other has cooking + fishing, just to realize, that I was forced to play under restrictions as crafting skill / character, to interact with other players (since I'm a broken antisocial creep who needs such restrictions to interact 😄) BUT due to this two ALTs I was trolled.
But hey, its an Alpha, its all good IF these issues will receive a cure.
Re: A new players feedback - I got a lot.
A few things I forgot and a few more things I've found that I'd like to see added or changed:
It would be cool to commandeer ships, if you were able to board and kill the crew. It could make interesting, political situations where you could hold the boat hostage, sell it back to them at a discounted price or just keep it for yourself. I'm not sure how you could do this that would make it hard to do, having very high risk but obviously high reward but also giving the advantage to the owner of the ship. But, if it could be figured out, it would be extremely cool. Sinking it just seems like a waste and kind of a dick move, as you and them both gain nothing.
Fix the weird area of the ocean that is exempt of being a lawless zone (far south). Its making sports fishing down there pretty free currency.
Make wars not a free for all of each settlement. Maybe make it a signup for those who want to participate. Because, in my experience, the low levels who dont really know whats going on are being farmed for the score. And if they do know whats going on, what can they do if theyre above level 10? They could leave the zone and farm somewhere else in the mean time, but if they login mid war and its being sieged, theyre kinda stuck just twiddling their fingers. Rarely do the two "armies" end up finding eachother and going at it. Its just a free for all grief fest of the little guys and its not fun for the war parties (imo, others probably love the power trip lol)and Im sure its demoralizing and maddening for the low levels who just want to go gather/grind xp. I understand that in war.. civilians are often casualties. But, for engaging game play? Idk, lacks for me, personally. And no, this didnt happen to me. Ive been involved in a few wars and each time it seems like we're just picking off people leaving the gate and getting score that way, while the opposing "army" is either trickling out and dying with them or trying to do the same thing in our settlement. The opposition should have better tactics, obviously. But this is not about that and I'm strictly not liking this from the stand point of low levels being huge collateral damage/often part of the strategy to get score faster. At least if they opted in, you would know theyre fair game. But, even so, maybe have kill score count less for anyone under max level so they also cant just grief the war for their settlement, intentionally or unintentionally. Or have tiers - max level worth 2 points, level 20-24 worth 1 point and anyone under 10-19 worth half a point?
Remove target of target key bind. It takes away so much from PvP. And my guild has a good shot caller, but it makes PvP so unskillful. Just have your designated assist on target with the dual def/offensive target lock and push the bind whenever the current target dies or called to switch. It almost feels like I'm cheating when using it, like aim bot.
Have scroll wheel, when used in menu's or in inventory, NOT work for zooming in/out on your character. Its annoying to re-adjust your camera every time you leave a menu/inventory.
Have commission cache's, or any chest that you open in your inventory, open like a creature does - its contents in a second window and you could choose to put it in your bags or delete it. I hate that every time I have a bunch of chests from doing mining commissions, I have to equip a lumberjack satchel to be able to open them, because if I don't I continue to get a message that says I dont have space available for a 1x3.
I am so tired of hearing whatever mount I am riding making its animal noises whenever I jump. Have this be an emote or something, if people want to hear this. Or an option to turn it off at the very least.
DWARVES ARE NOT NIMBLE! PLEASE make the front flip go away! Natural sprinters, sure. Agile, no.
A ping system would be an absolute game changer. Communicating, even in voice chat, would be made better if on the battlefield pings or world markers were added to the game.
An auto sort function in your inventory and storage. Another simple but nice QoL.

We need more Transparency – even the bad stuff
Hey Intrepid,
I’m writing this because I love the game and I'm having a blast in Alpha 2, but we need to talk about the silence.
Lately, the internet is full of talk about the game failing or development stalling. When we go weeks without real updates, those rumors just get louder. Even those of us who are playing and enjoying the game are starting to get a bit worried about the future.
I get that its tempting to hide mistakes or "bad news" until you have a fix. But honestly? That's not what we need right now.
We're testers and backers, and we know game dev is messy. If a system is broken or a feature is delayed because of a tech hurdle, just tell us. Being honest about the struggles actually makes the community feel more involved. It turns us from customers into partners in the process.
You don't need to post a banger video every time. Just a quick, honest post saying "Here's what were struggling with this week" would go a long way in killing the "game is dying" narrative.
Trust us with the truth. We're in this, but we need you to talk to us.
Flying mounts
They completely ruin the water content.
I see no future at all for salt water fishing.
Risk vs Reward isn't worth it at all… especially if your boat gets destroyed…
Remove those flying things… I'm sure you can't think of other perks for mayors…
Re: 455 hours played Summoner Feedback
Great Post articulating the summoner. You gave great highlights and issues experienced. Appreciated the thought going into what would improve it

Re: Graphics in the game is veeery bad (The game could be from 2010)
I honestly don’t see the problem with the graphics. They look good to me, and I don’t think the game needs better visuals. It’s probably just the style that doesn’t appeal to you.

Re: Black screen after update 19-01
I have it with each update. I tried a method proposed by a player
disinstall steam
to disinstall lagofast
Then reinstall and it had worked during the previous update, but since the update of the 19 nothing works.
Already reinstalled everything several times and nothing
We need to change the calculation method for gathering quality bonuses.
The effect of gathering quality should be a linear boost where +1 quality grants +1 effect, instead of tiered thresholds like 300/700/1200. Threshold-based mechanics would deter most players from purchasing gathering-enhancing food altogether. This would ultimately render farming and cooking completely pointless—investing substantial time and gold would yield no market recognition, making the entire design logic a total failure.
