Re: Roads are too smooth
Here's a picture of an ancient Roman road for comparison.
When it comes digital art, imperfection is perfection. So something looking too clean is going to look odd. The actual texture pattern they're using is really good (go first person and walk the road, max out your settings if you can, it looks better if you get closer.). But what throws it off imo is the stones aren't aligned to the direction of the road. A minor thing and mostly likely not worth even addressing ever.

Re: Steven, Please Rethink “Not for Everyone”
Even without him ever mentioning it, i always expected atleast a few areas to have "lawless times" because of Archeage, Lawless Open Seas made the expectation even higher tbh.
Rogue's Grapple Ability got me thinking about the "out of combat" functionality of classes
In ye olden mmo's, there used to be passives and skills that weren't always tied to combat. Things like transforming into a random mob you target to blend in with the enviornment and language barriers in the chat back before we had such ease of access to voice chats so commonly. I was watching gameplay of Rogue's grapplehook ability and thought... huh, that'd be neat if you were wanting to spy on an enemy guild hanging atop a roof or climbing up to an open window staying in stealth trying to catch information that gets spread into the chat. It got me thinking about potential passives or active skills each archetype could have for more... "political" usage. I already love the sound of guilds forming to be support/mercenary guilds for a fee and the concept of rogues being information gatherers is intriguing with how flexible the skill idea is to be used for combat or just general hiding. Do you think other classes could see some sort've skills catered toward general usage passive or otherwise? I remember in archeage bard wasn't particularly a class but playing an instrument did provide passive buffs while exploring in a group and created an atmosphere for players in the vicinity since you could loop the songs so maybe that can be an idea if it's not already for the bard archetype as an example? Maybe even a song that dispels stealth nearby and shortens general chat range so you'd have to be in closer proximity to see it read?
I imagine the main consideration would also be the potential for griefing of course too so I'm trying to keep that in mind with ideas too.

Re: PvP arena in cities (like a colosseum)
Dude you a bit of a thick head arent you, reality check, he did "copied" right? its there (not fully implement tho), and right now there are no real decent lawless zones, and look at the game, look how alive it is, cant you see, have you seen many pvpers around havent you since it got removed? And you keep on a constant insisting dont you, as to see if people cater your way and agree with you (I dont know who you trynna gaslight in here but certainly not me)
And look and behold once more contradicting himself

You dont even realize what you write or what you have written
unless you trynna to convince me now too that the PAST is the present (perfect tense) dude spare me
Plus clearly you also must know better than Steven and Intrepid for sure
Seems what you want is indeed a replica of lineage 2 but "better", and i dont think thats what Steven and Intrepid really want or what they doing, they may have taken some influence from it as in the form of some systems/features, but i dont believe Steven is trynna to create (or more like recreate) a new lineage 2
I feel im talking wiht a toddler at this point
flash news the penalty you looking for already exists called corruption and what it follows
And look and behold once more contradicting himself
Surely im on the wrong in here as well'does not imply that this was in the past' = 'it's what I did in the past.'

As I said above, I had similar expectations.
My issue is though, why no mention of it for close to 8 years?
Steven has talked about the importance of the corruption system as a tool to shape PvP in Ashes. He then moved on to pointing out that caravans, wars and sieges are not subject to it, but that the corruption system is still present everywhere in the world. After that he mentioned that the open ocean was exempt to the corruption system, but everywhere on land, everywhere that is subject to the node system, will still have corruption in place.
In all of that, over those 8 years of supposedly open developement, there was not a single mention of it at all. Ever.

Re: Artisan Feedback and Suggestions
They're implementing crafting skill trees. They had a small subset a long time ago but pulled it out due to being unworkable. This has been mentioned in their chats lately that it'll be coming back in. So that's one bit that will allow for higher skilled to benefit directly from the higher skill, not just the access to the clothes / tool stats.

Or maybe a list that you can re-order to whichever order you prefer?
That would work too.
Just make the list on the right moveable so you can drag and drop the names in the order you want.

UI Changes Discussion
ONe thing I would like to see and hopefully more can agree with me, is to have the option to Turn Off Tool Tips. They are nice for a while, but after level 3 or four i would prefer to SHIFT HOVER for a tool tip to appear.

Re: PvP arena in cities (like a colosseum)
I want a space where people can just properly pvp at all times with no restrictions and then the rest of the world to be at constant danger from anyone around you, because corruption system will only fuck them over if they didn't clear their PK count well enough.
I played with lawless zones - they're shit and boring.
Funny that, it already existed, were called lawless zones! And it looks like you are pretty much the only one on a constant complaining about it, like everywhere; while the majority of the pvpers seemed to have fun in there hence why they are asking for it back.
(what is also funny is that you keep contradicting yourself and changing your narrative gradually)
And once more what you want its evidently not what everyone wants... also honestly i couldnt care less about your reactions, as far as it goes to me you do not own a competitive mindset, been beyond obvious when you prioritize pve related stuff over pvp, plus you can say/post whatever you want it wont shake my certainty.
Surely we do not have a similar experience btw.
Oh the strike of irony, so as you did the others must not... gotchaI simply grew out of the weakest kind of pvp out there. I did all of that stuff in my earlier years, because I thought that killing weaklings was something cool and worth bragging about.
