I remember guk and lower guk in EQ1. Outside the dungeon and the first little bit by the entrance was low level. I don't remember, I think people were teaming there till 30 something. I still remember the way around it. This is my favorite type of dungeon.
I never played Everquest but that sounds great!
alot of the EQ dungeons were for a wide level range https://eqatlas.ca/ (for maps if your curious) uper guck for example as above poster is level 4-25 and lower guk was 30-50
Some other dungeons like blackburrow (gnoll dungeon) were low level 5-20 for example however every X amount of time i think it was 30 minutes or something a gnol courier would spawn which was lvl 30 at the start ofthe zone and run to the commander room and despawn (would drop items for a gnoll slaying club so there were reasonto come back to farm it) this was to simulate communication between the 2 gnoll tribes in dungeons splitpaw a few zones over(lvl 26+ dungeon)with blackburrow.
Some dungeons ezits mainly higher level ones were also not next to the entrance so you had to fight ur way to the exit :P others had invisable floor pitfall traps leading to higher level parts of the dungeon.

Where are you getting that idea from???
Be more specific please their is a lot in that quote block. in another thread you seemed to be onboard with the notion of a tree of nodes, though you called it an 'Augment school' while I am in the habbit of calling the whole tree 'The Augment' aka 'The Cleric Life Augment' is not one monolithic thing but a tree and the bits of it 'Augment nodes' (yes a term I completly made up) so we may just be having a symantical misunderstanding here.
Please do a bit of reading there is some information to be gained on their goal and some concepts for it . Like i said before people are filling in blanks and trying to create a solution to a problem they have kind of fabricated themselves in their own mind.

"Better communication" rarely works out well for devs in game development.
That's probably the 2nd thing gamers learn when they actually join a dev team.
Which is why you Steven, over time, move from "We are going to be completely transparent and communicate EVERYTHING!" to "Um. I think it's probably best if we're a litle bit more opaque - but we still aim to be more communicative than any previous MMO dev team."
It's the same in software development in general, to an extent. At some point you have to stop missing every single date you provide to your customers and deliver something. Eventually delays point to a deeper issue than just "it's development, this is to be expected" and the customer(s) have every right to be upset. Game development is ultimately no different.
In regards to communication my issue is that they're not communicating more often or more transparently than other crowdfunded devs, despite trying to say they are. CIG as the most prominent example is better at communication, both in terms of frequency and transparency. Other studios like Frontier, Skymill (the developers for Kindred Fates), Once Lost Games (developers for Wayward Realms), and Novaquark (the developer for Dual Universe) provide communication at least on par with and even beyond what Intrepid has been providing. Even some of the people that are purposely misconstruing what I've said in what appears to be an attempt to defend Intrepid (when they don't need defending and have even said they don't want people doing this) have admitted to poor communication on Intrepid's part.
Regardless, I've said my piece here and am done talking about this. People are going to just continue misinterpreting what I've said, probably intentionally, and saying that I'm saying things that I haven't because I'm providing a different viewpoint that upsets them.

Hearthstones, to my knowledge, are not planned. I could only imagine those as VERY expensive, craftable, droppable, one time use consumables for Arcane Engineering.
As a permanently and freely usable tool of convenience, this cannot be implemented, it would cripple the economy, because paying a guild to use their Hearthstones to transport low quantity, high value goods by teleportation rather than caravan would rip apart the economic system at the upper end, devaluing everthing that goes into the production line of these high value goods.
So introduction of ANY type of easy, convenient travelling would be a deathblow to this game and therefore has to be avoided. And if any of those will be introduced this will mark the beginning of the end. (And yes, it is that dramatic)
