Re: The Scales of Fate: Tulnar Storytime and Art Exhibit
Sscimarb Tulnar'i, Sin-Eater of the Scaled Order, swore his life to the God of Fate when he came of age, and specifically into making sure that corruption finds its fate at the end of his blazing sword. He believed it was his divine quest to strip the Essence out of the unworthy and free it for those that the Seven have always meant it to belong to. Nothing pleased him more than to strike down the unworthy, the corrupted, and watch as the Essence fled from their mangled bodies into the caves around him. It was his duty to keep his people safe, and he relished in that task every day.
His life turned upside down, though, when the portals suddenly opened and the long lost races that had fled to Sanctus began pouring through. As his warband emerged from the underrealm to meet them, his eyes fell on the most beautiful creature he had ever seen... a radiant elfish woman glowing with the purest Essence he had ever seen. As if looking in a mirror and seeing everything opposite of each other, their eyes locked and their fates intertwined, changing their worlds forever.

Love it!

3 words-Black Myth Wukong.
-Every boss is enhanced by its environment.
-Every boss leaves some sort of visual mark when it attacks.

Re: Not looking forward to node destruction...
🔥 The Balance in Node Destruction
I'm sure that while there will be those who want to destroy nodes for strategy, power, or even just for fun, many will also band together to defend them. That’s precisely what will make Ashes of Creation so unique: a constant struggle between conquest and preservation.
🌍 Defenders and Strategies
There will be guilds and communities dedicated to protecting their homes, forming alliances, fortifying nodes, and organizing counterattacks. Not every player will be interested in all-out war; many will find purpose in trade, economy, and stability, making node defense a top priority.
⚔️ A Living, Breathing World
The destruction of a node isn’t the end of a story—it’s the beginning of another. The fall of a metropolis could mean the rise of a new civilization with different leaders and strategies. It’s a cycle of war and peace, dominance and rebellion, keeping the world of Verra in constant evolution.
🛡️ A Game of Community
This won’t be a world where lone wolves dominate without opposition. Defensive guilds, merchants invested in stability, and players who prefer building over destruction will play just as crucial a role. And if a node falls, people won’t just give up—many will fight to rebuild it stronger than before.
The real question isn’t whether nodes will fall, but who will be there to defend them… and who will seize the opportunity to rebuild them?

Re: Alpha Two FAQ
Question: Will my character and progress be wiped at any point during Alpha Two, or can I keep my progress forever?
Alpha Two is a testing phase for Ashes of Creation, meaning the game is still in development and requires live player testing to validate game design and ensure systems function correctly. While we aim to minimize unnecessary wipes, Alpha Two testers should anticipate progress resets as needed—whether due to bugs, technical issues, or to facilitate specific testing scenarios.

Re: Alpha Two FAQ
Question: Do I have to download the game every weekend?
You won’t need to re-download everything, but during the week we often release updates to the game that will require you to patch/download before you can play. Updating on Fridays will be quicker if you’re consistent about downloading previous updates when they’re made available!
