Re: Game constantly freezes
Same big drop of performance with lasts patches.
Loading takes forever(ssd). Sometime after a bug loading i get "Can't retrieve character list error" then the game close.
When i able to play, a lot of freeze too.
My computer isn't great but it wasn't that bad previously.

Re: Game constantly freezes
Having the same issue. Game freezes with an hour of game running, doesn't matter what settings I use.
Re: Game constantly freezes
I suffered this issue twice, the first time I just climbed back up the hill from Samia's Hope and entered the goblin area, on my way to Lionhold. The second time I was on the back stairs doing the Boneyard Brigade. Both times seemed to have been around 4:00 pm EDT/EST. (whatever it is now)

Re: 📝 Dev Discussion #72 - Guild Program 🤝
I just want to be able to have all my members in one guild without the frustrating system of member caps that takes months to level up for a few extra slots, currently the guild system in-game is just terrible with the pointless slot limitations IMO, members hate being placed on guild number 3 and guild leaders also hate not having the freedom to use one tag, thats my number 1 piece of feedback as of now

Re: RMT has started - where’s the action?

stupid comments like this make important discussions lose their relevancy, why the fuck you just listed all the large guilds you know even from different servers and made a fucking baseless claim that they are involved in RMT? the fuck dude just stick to facts you actually know of if you care about the issue
RMT has already started in the alpha. There are a number of players on Vyra alone who are there to farm and sell gold, mostly by taking advantage of static gathering respawns. If you check the major RMT services from other games you’ll see Ashes listed there.
It’s insane to me that MMO communities are so fundamentally broken that we’re here already. Obviously it’s alpha so who cares, but at the same time it’d be nice to see Intrepid sit up and take immediate notice and be heavyhanded about this. Your game population will never be smaller, so it should hopefully be easy to track this down and ban for it. If you don’t establish a strict code of conduct early it’s just going to get worse and quickly.
But yes action against RMT needs to start Now, asap before this becomes a bigger issue, I'm waiting to see what intrepid stance will be on this

Ignoring the problem won't make it go away. Calling it out brings attention to the problem and he didn't name names or list sites. I think he did it right here.

Re: Ashes "Gathering" that will kill Alpha
There are clear issues with some hunting materials also, which due to the crafting being highly dependable on multiple sources of materials and processed goods results in massive bottlenecks. If someone asked me to shortly describe crafting experience atm, whatever talking about storage, gathering, processing or actual crafting, player market, then the first word which comes to my mind is: frustration.I agree that the gathering system currently is not in a great state. The timer campers are indeed to easy to farm high rarity mats. Also, i feel carpentry is out of whack cause of the scarcity of tier 2 and tier 3 trees.
Re: Please Remove the Sit/Rest Mechanic
How do you think players that get a late start on live launch to level up if the game forces group play early on? Do they need to beg higher levels to spend long hours to buddy up with them through the level process? There won't be a train of people everywhere for them to randomly connect with.
Re: Ashes of Creation Mana Management, what is your opinion?
JamesSunderland wrote: »I really like mana management systems. In fact, I think modern MMOs have moved too far away from mana management, which is partially what makes playing a caster interesting. In fact, I'd be thrilled to see an MMO where casters have actual magic systems complete with mana management instead of being a damage turret that never runs out of mana and just has to go through a Simon Says "rotation" with their abilities.
Mana became such a neglectable and disregarded stat on modern MMORPGS, that getting mana on gear or buffs is considered insignificant or even bad if it takes the slot of other stats, at that point mana not existing wouldn't change anything for them.
It's just sad for me to see mana become something so meaningless in those games, having experienced such a deep, inspiring and meaningful mana resource management in Lineage 2.
Totally agree it's been shit for a few years now. Also agree that it shouldn't exist if it isnt meaningful (nothing should).
Like you though, I'd rather see it be meaningful than be removed.
