Mayor of a metropolis

With the latest video on Nodes released, I'm wondering who actually plans on becoming a mayor of a metropolis, of being responsible for the entire node, making taxes, keeping the node safe from outsiders who wish to delevel it? To me it sounds like far too much effort, like being a guild leader x10

Who would actually want to be a mayor?

    I'm pretty sure there is a lot of people out here who likes organizing and does that as a hobby. I'm actually one of them but leading a guild is enough for me. So someone with a lot of playtime and experience should definitely give it a go!

    I agree with AeonAuron.
    I also think you get the role because you are able to handle it. I've been a "leader" many times, not because I wanted, but because I was actually doing it as a group member.

    I would really appreciate to find someone who can take responsibilities. Real life takes too much time.

    Yeah no, im pretty sure if you are leader of a proper guild it requires over 9000 times more work XD

    Also how they represented it, i dont think its something you can plan to do as you are not guaranteed to get it. And need more info but i asume there is some perks of being the leader wich will make everyone want to get it, or we know you get the mount but im sure there is more than that.

    Also we have to bear in mind that you cannot be a guild leader AND a mayor of a metropolis at the same time, meaning that there will be event less people wanting to become a Mayor. Why be a Mayor of a metropolis for a month when you can be a guild leader in a castle for an eternity?

    I'm sure plenty of people will want to do it, even if just for a single term (month). To try it, if nothing else.

    It will bring an interesting twist to the game, having to specify certain guilds or players to try to take hold over the Node and try to maintain the guilds at the same time? May be helpful to have some more information regarding this feature.
