Hello All!

I have been following AOC for a while now. However, I have been thinking about the housing concept. If the node has limited housing, only a select few will be able to get that Node Housing (I know there is Instanced Housing). Will there be new servers opening up regularly for the people who missed the opportunity to get a Node House? I love the idea of the competition to get a piece of the land. However, if they open servers up all the time, then people will hop servers constantly looking for that piece of land that they missed out on. How is that going to work? Thanks!

    I believe you have missed half of what's out there about housing. It comes in three forms: player built static housing (which you were referring here), rental instance housing within a town (this depends on the decisions of the towns leaders) and free holds that can be built anywhere the town's zone of influence.

    There's a game mechanic for dealing just this situation--gather an army of your friends and then burn the metropolis to the ground. You can then buy a house when it comes time to rebuild. If you somehow miss the window because of a hot real estate market., rinse and repeat till you succeed.

    There will be dozens if not hundreds of small nodes where you can get a non instanced house, I would even like a small guild node with friends better than a huge metropolis,, it will be hard only in Metropolises to obtain a manson, and even the biggest metropolis can be besieged.

    WHat if a player with a node stops playing. Is there a monthly rent to a house and if u dont pay it for 1/3 months u lose it?
