Will Ashes of Creation boast a web API we can hook into?

Similar to WoW's Armory API, I would love to see a web API for AoC.
I feel this is one of the biggest mistakes MMO's make today is not having enough resources for community driven/guild websites.

Is this something the developers have considered doing post-release?

I was wondering the same thing and yes I believe they should build a full blown SDK

It is fairly easy in theory to make a webhook API players can have access to, something that only gives access to some read only properties that players can fetch from, but the more you put in, the more hackable it becomes.
