Possibility of Limited pre alpha kickstarter?

I was thinking that maybe a short amount like 100 or so, Limited pre alpha passes to expand early testing possibly? I know that kickstarter is going to be able to purchase for alpha around 2018 but alot of people in the community would love to help test it out early, and contribute feedback and ideas that is needed so early in development. i don't know if there is going to be one or not, but if there isn't they should add it :).

  • There is the alpha testing in Q4 2017 wich they give out keys for on a weekly basis. Just wait until like tomorrow or so when the next drawing is ;)
  • yea i kno but that chances are slim :( i never win things like this lol... if i have to pay ill pretend i won it
  • Its not (only) random, most are handpicked community members wich have shown their possitive attitude and are helping others to learn about the game. So stay active, lend a hand to newbies and u may get picked someday
  • I will now Devote my life to trying to get a key !!!!!
  • If it inspires you I got access to the ESO PTS months ahead of release and everyone else simply because my guild members and I were incredibly devoted to the game and its' community early on. Developers tend to notice and reward community members who from the earliest stages support their games. Simply being active around forums, helping others navigate around all the available information and giving constructive feedback are great ways to have a moderator notice you.
  • I think Steven said they MAY offer pre-alpha access for pledges after the kickstarter ended. I imagine they want to know how many people they need in the closed alpha before they commit to signing up people for pledges. I'm very interested, unfortunately short of just trying to be involved with the community there is little I can do.
  • Just help out where you can and pop in and try to learn everything you can it always helps :x
  • Well, if they are not going to allow pre alpha access to the kickstarter backers, they should open an application process to select players who can provide feedback. There are dozens of examples of MMOs out there that did not allow players to set their eyes on the game before the game was ready to be released, it was too late to rework mechanics didn't work or weren't fun. The most obvious example is TESO.
  • i mean i like the whole raffle concept to reward helpful members.... but i dnt think it gives enough keys 1 a week lowers my hopes even more of getting one lol
