I was thinking about the whole mount system and wouldn't it be a cool idea if the only way for you to get a mount was to go through a tamer that is able to make the creature you catch " mountable". If you didnt want to make it a mount you could choose to have it just fight enemies with you instead of being able to ride on it? If they make mounts rewards for doing certain quests then i guess this kind of throws this idea out.
