Combat System?
Hi, I am super excited about this game! I am just wondering will the combat system be tab-targeting or will it be a free look/ free-aim environment? Or will it be a mix of both? I am super hyped about the node system, but of course the core of MMO's is killing monsters/people. I look forward to whatever combat system awaits but any insight would be helpful =)
(i tried looking at other forums for info but wasn't able to find the answer)

That is good. :)
I find a strict tab-targeting system to be boring, skill-less button mashers! However, having said that, I find some action-combat systems can feel like they are severely lacking in strategy at times.
Two of the best combat systems that come to mind are Neverwinter and ESO. And while those two games may have more of an action-combat feel to them, if memory serves me correctly (it's been a while since I played either), they still felt somewhat strategic and not like a combat cluster f***!
With that being said, the biggest thing I feel I absolutely need in my MMO combat system is the ability to block and dodge. I despise games that allow a hit or miss to be solely based on a random number (i.e. hit table) and there's nothing you can do about it. Where's the skill (and thus fun) in that?!
