Discovering New Regions - An Idea
I have tried to keep up with all of the information and news that has been released so far and I apologise if I repeat anything already commented on.
I was thinking on how to make the discovery and settling of new regions/nodes feel epic and rewarding beyond just deciding to go exploring. It would be very cool if an unexplored land was wild to begin with to the point at which you need a decent group of high level players (relative to the level of the node) to even attempt to settle.
I'm just imagining that moment where you and your fellow noders (I think it works) decide "boys, we have gained quite a few levels, our gear is awesome, it's time to make a move on an untouched region". I think it would add far more excitement and significance to the experience of discovery.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
