Referral program issue.

I am sending people to the site through referral but they hit the kickstarter button, pledge a package, sign up but they don't show up as a referral from me at all. Five so far and no new referrals on my list.

a code will be sent to you after the kickstarter has ended for you to apply on your account.

So if they go through my link then click on Kickstarter instead of register and sign up through Kickstarter I will still get them as a referred friend at the end is what you are saying.

they need to register a account using your referral link, then they can go to the kickstarter and buy a package, at the end of the kickstarter they will be sent a code to apply on the account then it will show in your stats.

They are clicking my ref link but then clicking the Kickstarter button, grabbing a package and going through that way....is that by passing ref link registration or does it still count when they get the package then register?

I don't mean to be so focused on this issue, but your referral program is a unique way to get people involved in sales and marketing of your product.
I myself am in sales and marketing and treat this as a business opportunity. I actually have banner ads that I am paying for to drive business to your game and if they can click on my banner and then click the kickstarter icon on your site and grab a package without signing up under my ref code that poses a big problem for me.

I had a couple of friends using my referral link too but I only see 2 popup on my account page with no way to find out who did the referral and who didn't.

It would be usefull if there's someway to track who used your referral link or for the other person to see who's referral link they used...

I've had people say they used my referral and nothing even shows in the visit section sometimes. =c

Well let's hope they enhance this somehow so it's easier to track these things :)

Having the same problem here, I have sent through 20+ people so far and only 3 are showing up!

I shan't bother wasting my time promoting the game anymore until this is rectified as i'm burning through potential recruits and not getting anything for it.

My hope is the developers will just add a place on a person's account to choose who referred them. I had two people referred to this program, but I'm almost certain neither of them worked when they signed up, which sucks because one of them also bought a lifetime sub.

there could a few reasons why it doesn't show up, The referee had visited site before from another link - they didnt authenticate their account - they have cookies blocked - they are using a private browser so it would just show that they visited and not they signed up

In RE: to linking kickstarter to the ashes account, a code will be sent out to you at the end of the kickstarter to apply on the ashes website.

It's impossible to verify these issues when it's people I've gotten to come sign up through various social channels and don't personally know.

Judging by the number of visits i'm getting vs how many are showing up as referrals this is a complete waste of my time and effort quite frankly.
