High Change Rate Server
To me, and I think many others, the most exciting part of AoC is the Node System. Unfortunately, it seems that the exciting part of the node system is the beginning of a new server. The Devs have said it will be a monumental task to siege a metropolis and most efforts will fail. This leads me to think that the node system will stagnate as a server ages.
Have the devs given any thought to a server type that will have a higher rate of change, even allowing a metropolis to downgrade simply by having another node upgrade past it rather than being sieged? Any other ideas on how to stave of stagnation on older servers?

Even if you cant siege a node.....you can still take out political figures and use espionage.
Why destroy when you can overthrow and subvert.
Then there is also the potential world ending monsters....
...the world fights back even if the people cant.
I would say the opposite here. It will probably be easier to siege a node with players who played a long time. They will be stronger and will know how to go at it. It will be likely fail in the beginning to siege a node but should get easier as time goes on.
Will citizens be able to change the type of Metropolis by changing the activities we do near the established nodes?
Can citizen behaviors change the type of Metropolis without downgrading?
