    Theft is pretty cool. I think it should be a profession, but allow only theft from NPC's. Like RS for example.

    Higher level Theft skill, higher chance for better rewards and access to thieving from higher up NPC's.

    Where do you see that there is not if the game is player driven surely we can just take or burn down what is not nailed down

    well depends on the banning process. If its like Eve, and you can steal guild banks that it will be cool if not than its going to be a follow the dotted line
