The Original Everquest Bard classes was amazing fun to play, please make this bard class similar. Cannot wait to see how this game turns out.

    Yeah, I have to agree, while there have been Bards in other games, and things like Bards (eg: the Minstrel in LotRO), EQs version was really good.

    Do you mean being able to weave multiple songs together at the same time?

    well many of the devs working on this game came from Everquest so you have a good shot at your wish coming true

    I liked the Bard in Vanguard, you were truly a bard, composing music to heal,buff and debuff ect, such an original class.

    All architypes should have as some logic in design, as some properties from analogues by other games-some people likes Eq primer, others -Daoc/Dnd etc(ex. personally i dont fan monk design from Eq -i don't see logic here -it's just fighter with certain type of weapon/some stances/high attack speed-but where is <strong>ecclesiastic</strong> side?)
    Anyway, there is some traits, wich ususaly pretty common for all kind of bards
    -They can play at least on few musical instruments
    -They usually not so good in close combat (exept maybe nord type - Scald)
    -Has many buffs/debuffs -speed, regenegations, accuracy etc
    -Has some control spells and prefers ranged attacks
    -Has medium lvl of survivability(depend on specialization)
    Vangard was fun - but for some time Bard was to OP - could buffs/inviz/subheals and do LOT OF damage in same time -sort of "assasard" class.
