I love mmorpgs. I tried most of them . Faves so far is
Aion(First year of it before too much changes)
World of warcraft (First year of it)
Final Fantasy xiv (The current version as it is now)
Even thou i tried a lof of MMORPGS there are few that really get into.
What hooks me into an mmorpg is
How its feels. Responsiveness. Animation. Ui.
How progress works. How one does progress. How hard it is. How much time it takes. Can it be done solo or with groups?
Rewards: What kinds of reward does one get for how much work and time.
Social: How are the community and what mechanics is there for making the community ingame.
Graphics: What kind of feeling does the graphics make? Customization of char and gear and world?
Mechanics: How does the spells and fighting work? Is it open world? loading screens? Pvp/Pve system. Balance?
Those are the things i think about. there are far more things but those where the things that comes to mind for the moment.
I think Ashes of creation seems to have what makes me hooked for an mmorpg. Love how the mage gameplay looks.
Time will tell how it all works out. But I will follow it closely and i am pretty sure I will pledge ^_^

Ahhh, Sweden. It seems like a great place. I would really love to travel there one day.
I too played Final Fantasy XIV for a few years before dropping it. Been fishing for a good MMO to pick up which was how I found out about this one.
