I figured it would be a good idea to register now and get on-board the hype train. Probably a year or more to go until release from what I've read but hey at least we can suffer-in-waiting together. The more I see on this game the less I want to play any I currently have access to!

It sure is the best time to climb aboard the hype train. Have you already pledged for the game's kickstarter campaign? What about the dev streams every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 3pm PDT in <a href="https://www.twitch.tv/ashesofcreation" target="_blank">Twitch</a>?
You should also join the <a href="https://discord.gg/ashesofcreation" target="_blank">community discord channel</a> and check the best <a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/14luppZ3Ub8jmcw_aK65QWxYY4xa8qAo9zRfpYWBxOXE/edit#" target="_blank">community made infodoc</a> for the up to date knowledge of what we already know of the game.

I understand your feelings all to well. This game just feels more and more superior to what I'm playing every day. I can't wait for it's release.
